One of the greatest perks of being a college student is the amount of savings you’re eligible for with a student ID. Unfortunately, many places don’t advertise this because they want you to spend as much as possible which is sad , isn’t it?
Well, cheer up. I’ve put together a list of places where we can save.
Charlotte Russe – Although their clothes are conveniently priced – at select locations – students are eligible for 10% off all merchandise.
Medelita – Heading into the medical field? Lab coats, scrubs, clogs and more are available here for 25% off or more when you show your student ID.
Banana Republic– Did you just land your dream internship? And it’s paid? Congrats. You can now dress to impress when you show your student ID here, with 15% off full-priced items.
J.Crew – J. Crew’s prices are ridiculous, but if you’re a prepster you might find their classic style hard to resist. Enjoy a 15 % discount when you present your school ID.
Topshop – If you’re into the more international trends head over to Topshop where students are offered 10% off apparel.
Subway – Get 10% off that foot long with a valid student ID.
Burger King – Receive a ’whopping’ 10% off your purchase when you show your ID.
McDonald’s – Enjoy a 10 % discount off a Shamrock Shake or Big Mac with your student ID.
Dairy Queen – Most locations offer 10% off when you show your student ID, but not all. Find out whether your local DQ offers the discount.
Papa John’s – When all else fails, order pizza. Discounts here vary based on location, so call and check what student discounts your nearest Papa John’s offers.
Apple– Receive up to $200 off a new Mac with Apple’s special education pricing for students.
Lenovo – I recently purchased a once one of their products. I wish I would have taken advantage of their student discounts. Select your school on their website for access to offers and discounts!
Dell – Dell University allows students to take advantage of special discount packages priced exclusively for education.
Sony – Sony’s Education store offers 10% off, for students.
Stayed tuned for a spring break themed post where I’ll list a number of transportation services that have pity for us broke college students.
Have an awesome day!
